Privacy policy

What personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We collect as little as running the site allows.

Last updated

  1. Who is responsible for your data

    1. NerdyTech HUB SRL (Romania) and KickOff Ventures LLC (United States) are the data controllers for this site.

    2. For anything about your data, write to support@nbapredictions.ai and a person will read it.

    3. Our app for iPhone and iPad is published on the App Store, with our permission, by MD LABS S.R.L. (Romania, CUI 49009525), represented by Mihaela Dobre.

  2. What we collect

    1. Your account — the name and email address you give us, and your password, which we store only as a hash we cannot reverse.

    2. Your settings — light or dark mode, your timezone, your odds format and the language you read the site in, kept in cookies on your own device so the site looks the same next time. If you are signed in, your odds format, your language and a timezone you pick by hand are also saved with your account, so your other devices follow them.

    3. Saved games and followed teams — the games you star and the teams you follow are kept in your browser. If you are signed in, they are also kept with your account, so they follow you to your other devices, and they are deleted with it. Without an account we receive their ids only when the page asks us for those games, and we do not store them.

    4. Server logs — our host records requests, including IP addresses, so the site can be kept secure and working. They are kept briefly and are not used to build a profile of you.

    5. We do not run analytics or advertising on this site, and we set no cookie that follows you to another site — which is why we have never had to ask you to accept them. The cookie policy says what the ones we do set are for.

  3. Why we use it

    1. To give you an account and keep you signed in; to show the site the way you set it up; and to keep the site secure and working.

    2. Our legal grounds are the contract between us when you hold an account, and our legitimate interest in running a site that is secure and works. Where we ever need your consent, we will ask for it and you will be able to take it back.

  4. Who else sees it

    1. Only the companies we need to run the service: our hosting provider and our email provider, for messages such as a password reset. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for themselves.

    2. Typefaces are served from our own domain. Team and competition logos come from our content delivery network, BunnyCDN, which receives your IP address when a page loads. Nothing else on the page talks to a third party.

    3. We do not sell your personal data. We never have and we will not.

  5. How long we keep it

    1. Account data for as long as your account exists. Delete your account and we delete it, except anything we must keep for legal reasons, which we keep only for as long as the law requires.

    2. Server logs are kept briefly and then discarded.

  6. Your rights

    1. You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, give you a copy to take elsewhere, or limit or stop what we do with it. Ask at support@nbapredictions.ai and we will answer within a month.

    2. If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first — and you also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live.

  7. Age

    1. This site is for adults of betting age, at least 18 or older where the local age is higher (21 in the United States). It is not for children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

    2. If you believe a child has given us data, write to support@nbapredictions.ai and we will delete it.

  8. Changes to this policy

    1. We may update this policy. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date at the top says when it last changed. If a change matters to you, we will say so on the site.
